I have the model 31 mounted on my boat and it works very good. If you have any specific questions post them and I will try and help. I bought a video at West Marine to learn how to use mine(it was on the boat when I bought it and lucky for me the guy that owned the boat fished the same waters around Charleston , SC as I do.

I was thinking of putting one on the Mako and interfacing my new Icom w/ distress sinal to it. How accurate is it. How Many Waypoints Etc. Would you buy it again?

I've got one and love it. Best $300 I have spent yet on the boat. Easy to use and intuitive.

I ordered the cable to interface mine with my Furuno 600L but have not done it yet.I also got instructions from Consumer Electronice on how to hook it up.
Yea I would buy another one, I am looking at a Garmin 188c but if my Furuno 31 went out I would purchase another one today.
If you are looking for a bargain I see them all the time on ebay.

You won't go wrong with a Furuno GP32.

Have one interfaced with a 600L and a Standard Horizon Quest. Looked at the GP37 and the 32 - was talked into the 32 by the electronics dealer - have not regretted his recommendations on any of the electronics

Rocketman, how do you like having it linked to your 600L. I have not had time to hook mine up yet and would like to know what features it has and what to expect?
thanks
