Anyone ever sent a sonar unit back to Lowrance for warranty repair? How long did it take to get it back?

Twice.
12 and 15 days.
Didn't work out, so I traded it for a can a Spam, a Catfish rig, and I got the better end of the bargain.

I had a problem with a three year old x-75. I sent it back with a flat repair fee of 75.00. They sent me a new unit in eight days.

overall, very good.

Lets see.. I had a lowrance gps, the keypad died so I sent it back. Two weeks later I got it back.

Four months later, the keypad died again.. sent it back to them, got it back in two weeks.

Three months later the keypad died again, sent it back got it fixed and returned in two weeks. Sold the boat, and the POS lowrance went with it.

Bought a used boat with an LMS 350A.. Keypad died, lowrance sent me the parts to fix it (after numerous calls and letters where they told me they had no parts and could not fix it).. Got the parts in 1 week. Fixed it myself. I let the unit get rained on one day and it quit working. Dried it out, worked for a few minutes and then... the keypad quit.... unreal.

A fellow THT'er saw my tale and sent me his LMS 350A since he was not using it anymore. Used it for one month, the keypad died...

Lowrance told me they have no more keypads lying around (gee I wonder why) and will give me a rebate on my next lowrance POS purchase....Now I have two units to send in for rebate letters and no working electronics other than my radio, which thankfully, was not made by Lowrance.

I had pretty quick service when I sent my new LCX-16CI back because it had a black and white screen right out of the box. The new unit that they quickly replaced had a screen that came up a mirror image of what it should have been. The next one lasted for a couple of years before the screen crapped out on it also. It's in the trash now.

Sounds like you guys have not had very good luck with Lowrance. I have run Lowrance equipment on my boats for years and have yet to have one piece of their equipment fail. All in all I have been very satisfied with the performance. I hope I didn't just jinx myself.
