Default Anti Theft measures for Instruments?

I recently bought a boat that has its gps/chartplotter, fish finder, & radar on the standard U brackets with the thumb screws to secure them on. I'm tired of taking them on and off every time and am trying to think of a way to keep them from getting stolen. (it's an open deck boat).

I don't have panel space to flush mount them and don't really want to install a pod.

I wonder if y'all know of a way to make the existing mounts secure, I was thinking of replaceing the thumb screws with some kind of bolt that has an uncommon head (like the lug nuts they have for mag wheels). Of course if they really want it, they'll get it. But just trying to make it harder without spending a bundle.

Any ideas appreciated!!!
