Have recently installed a Simrad AP-12H. A bit less expensive than the AP-11, and should be fine for your boat.

I have lots of pictures available. Email me if you want them sent directly.

I use a Simrad AP-12H myself, on a 23' walkaround (single 200 hp outboard on a bracket). I would recommend one in a heartbeat to anyone with a mid-20's boat.

Not to expensive, easy to install, mine has operated flawlessly for 3 years now (with the exception of a control unit that I destroyed with a high pressure water spray.

Look at the picture below and notice that black thing with the red button in the middle of my dash. That's it. You hit that button and it holds its current course, hit a second button and it will follow a GO-TO from my GPS to any selected waypoing. Absolutly foolproof operation.
