How about the ground (black wire)? Is it connected?

If so here is the number for the company that handles the warranty's and repairs for Clarion products bought through there auth. dealers.

i had the same symptoms but mine was related to not having the acc. switch turned on. There is a hard reset using a pin have you done it?

No, that just means the yellow wire feed is active/okay. The unit has a memory function that is seperate from the units regular power...so even with the switch off it can maintain it's memory. When I had identical symptoms my unit was not getting power for anything but memory/eject. Are you sure you have it wired correctly?

If the answer is yes return it, it was defective.

Mattup, when mine did that the first time you could hear me screaming on the other end of the lake!!!!!!! You're not getting enough power to the unit, fully charge your batteries and it will play like a champ. Those things are really picky about getting full power and won't turn on unless it's there..... Charge your batteries and get back to me..........

Bailey you might be right on...I mentioned the acc. switch but I swear on mine I'd flipped that and still no dice. It wasn't until after I took a trip in the boat that day that it worked. I had nothing but trouble with the batteries, so you might be right..... Never had a problem since with new batteries.

starboard cover for the hole...but yeah, you probably have to put it back in to make it look right...but what a waste to have something that big that plays one cd take up that much space when an ipod stores 500 albums and is the size of a pack of smokes...

Your right and thats where Im screwed I have to replace with clarion nothing else "marine" is that size . I think the starboard would look tacky and the console is so clean with everything flush mounted .

I'm not sure - you might want to ask around but I think a person with fibergalss experience and gelcoat can do wonders - I had a speaker hole in my console on my old boat that a guy fixed and when he finished it looked like it was never there...

Just for the record, it is not double din. The face extends larger than the hole it goes in. It is a single sixe hole. Any DIN radio will fit in the hole.
