Default Lowrance/Navionics Help

I am using the Navionics Gold XL maps in my Lowrance 330 GPS/Depth Finder. The Navionics charts are great except I cant see the maps on the 2 mile range (blank page). All other ranges work, from min to max. I have contacted Lowrance and have gotten several canned responses. If anyone is using this unit and mapping software, could you check and see if you can draw maps in the 2 mile range. It would help with my fix from Lowrance.

Thanks,
Mark

mark426, I have the exact same unit with navionics gold xl3. Just checked it out at 2nm. Works perfectly. My guess it's the mmc card. Since you have the lowrance 330c then your unit is new. If the card is new and you got it from a local dealer I'd preasure them to exchange it. Also try it in a 330c demo unit at the dealer just to make sure it's the card. Good luck. rcouret

I have the gold xl3 card, and mine blanks out in the keys at bahia honda when using the florida chart on certain zooms, yet the bahamas chart works perfectly in the same location.

You need to go to navionics and fill out one of their problem forms or what ever their called. it's the chart code itself not the unit.

Thanks..... I thought something was not right. I have contacted Lowrance and Navionics. MAYBE Lowrance (LEI) will send me a new card?

Thanks again,
Mark

after they correct it in the next 5 or 6 years you'll be allowed to update the card.

Call one of the boat us places and see if they dont already have a higher revision for it. You can burn a new copy there if so.
