Default Lowrance Color FF

My 3 month old Lowrance X105 CF went out last week. Made a call to them they gave me an RA # and I shipped it off. Got it back in 8 days. Not bad considering shipping took 3 days and 2 were the weekend.
Thanks Lowrance

Billy

I agree with Sea Dad. I know several of my buddies use Lowrance and when they have had a problem Lowrance takes care of it in a hurry.

I have always been impressed with the detail their units give.

That screen shot looks just like a bunch of Lowrances sinking to the bottom after disgusted owners tossed them!

Shouldn't take 8 days to turn one of them around. Lord knows how many refurbs are sitting in the warehouse! And they should alway be right with excahnges... they have enough experience!

actually brainiac that screen shot is yellowtail snapper being hauled up from 85'. Obviously something you have never seen.

Sounds like to me they did exactly what you said they should have. Shipped another out just as soon as his arrived. It takes 3 days to ship anything out of state, and 3 days to get it back. That left 2 days for the weekend. I guess if you could add days up you could have figured that out yourself.

Thanks for clearing that up Sea_Dud!

Hard to tell what anythingis in all that yellow! Is that how you know they are yellowtail? No comment on the fuzziness and grainy look.. Did those yellowtail swallow the the decrepit Lowrances? Must be hiding their air bladders.

Also I can count, can you read? If it is a brand new replacement unit, I would expect them to wait for the RMA. Seeing that they ship refurbs ( as in somebody elses problem fixed with a bandaid) why not send as soon as the guy called? Have you checked your serial numbers?

I have always had great service from Lowrance. Yes thing do break, I guess a Furuno never goes bad? How is Furuno customer support? Where do you ship a Furuno for repairs, Japan? What is there turn around time? Give me a break I have been using Lowrance for years as have all of my friends.

well made mud, let me keep it simple for you then since you cant seem to grasp it on your own.

How do I know they were yellowtail? Because we caught them.

The fuzziness and graininess is from the resizing of the image as it is stored online. The server shrinks them down without trying to correct for the distortion it causes. Just squint harder you'll figure it out eventually or try and get someone else to explain it for you since you are the only one that doesnt understand what they are looking at.

They wont just ship you another unit without receiving one. It's called smart business. It keeps folks like you from just calling up and trying to get one for free.

You should try posting without bashing or being an azzhole. You'll find you get lots more help from some very smart people on here.

I have Lowrance on board and had a issue with my 16-ci and the folks at Lowrance took care of me. This boat I bought was used along with the electronics on board (1 year old, but still a used rig, Second owner) Anyhow, I was taken care of, end of story and a happy customer.
