Default Navionics Silver or Gold

I have a lowrance lcx 19 gps/fishfinder combo in my 20' wellcraft stepV. I'm debating on which Navionics card to buy. It appears from the navionics web site that differences are 1) detailed marina information 2) offshore detailed of wrecks and other structures. I manily stay in the back bays and close to the shore.
Any help from you guys is greatly appreciated.

The golds will have more information and larger coverage areas. They tend to be the most bang for your buck.

If you do lakes also, you might want to check out the hotmaps for your area, those that are along the coast usually cover a good swath of close in ocean too. I bought a gold and HM and find that almost everything I use is on the HM.
