Default Garmin data cards

I'm looking into the fishing hot spots CD and need to know how large of a data card should be bought? Does anyone know how large these maps are in general? I hate to pony up to a 128 meg card when a 32 meg will do the job.

Thanks

ProMaster. Don't know the size of the chart. But I've been in touch with Garmin and they tell me their comming out with new charts for the fishing hotspots and inland lakes. According to them the new charts are supposed to be out the later part of March.

Call Garmin they'll tell you. From what I see some states have much more inf than others.

It seems that a 16M card is sufficient for most people. I bought a 32M card for SE Florida and the Bahamas. The whole thing fits into about 11M so they're smaller than I expected. I can't imagine that you'd need anything as big as 128M.
