Default Immediate Help Plz

I need help asap please. I have just sold my 1995 17' Mako and I cannot get power to it's C115 Yamaha. I have changed allthe terminals and batteries are good. The motor will not tilt/trim or crank. Is there a fuse or something simple that I am missing. I was suspect of the neg lead going to the engine from the battery block. I needed to cut approx 6" off in order to find non corroded wire. Is it possible that the entire lead is bad to the engine?

Help please, new owner to pick the boat up tomorrow.

Take a pair of jumper cables and use one half of the pair to check if it is the ground Just hook 1 end up to the battery and the other end to the terminal on starter If this isnt the problem use other side of jumpers to go from positive side of battery to starter solenoid

Thanks for the tip. Don't know why I didn't think of that myself. I guess you need to step back and retool sometimes. Well 2 guage wire ain't cheap, but it got the job done beautifuly. Thanks for the help.
