Default navman vs standard ff41

I know standard costs more than navman but is there any difference at all in features? I've searched and not seen any mention of differences other than navman is in NZ I think.

Thanks

I just received an FF41 ordered from D & B Marine online for $195.25. Will be sending in the paperwork for the $75 rebate today. Net cost $120.25 - too good a deal to pass up.

BoatUS wants $229.99 for this unit. Same high price at BoatersWorld.

Same exact unit. Just a different name on the front.

ocnslr,

Your right. That is a deal. There is normally a $75 difference in the price, thus the $75 rebate. I guess Standard needed to do something. Navman must have been killing them

The Navman seems to sell for $150, and the Standard FF41 is usually about $225 or so. Getting the FF41 at just over $190, and then subtracting the $75 rebate, brought the cost of the FF41 well below the Navman cost.

If you are considering getting a Navman, recommend shop for the best price you can find for an FF41, and then get the $75 rebate! Offer good through 31Mar03.

For those of you that are using one of these, do they require a separate switch like the floscan?

Ouch you paid too much ...

See http://www.brokenlegdave.com/ , Dave sells the F41 w/ 2" gauge for only $149, less the $75 rebate, your final cost is $74.

His prices and service is incredible !

I know this has been asked before, but will the navman or horizon work on a fuel injected motor? I have a 4.3l merc. E.F.I. I keep getting different answers.
Thanks

Only works on systems WITHOUT a fuel return to the TANK.

ocnslr,
Are you sure that FF41 price includes the sender? It didn't look like it to me. I think that's another $40+.
Their Navman price is actually $133.10 including the sender.

Will a single FF41 work with twin outboards?

You are correct sir ... I was in error and quoted the price for the "Navman" identical unit, my bad . So it would be $125 final price after rebate, which ocnslr stated ... my apologies.

Thanks for all the comments, guys.

Felt really bad (and stupid) for a minute, thinking I did not get such a good deal. Then I read a little further down, and ... well, you know.

Yes, the Standard Horizon FF41 that I received is the entire kit. Guage, bracket to hold it in to the dash, sender with long cable attached, and very complete directions.

I expect that I will get it installed within the next week or so. Also expect it to be just as helpful to me as it has been to many others - based on the posts I read in the THT Archive!

Thanks,
Brian

Now I'm just being lazy. Does anyone know if the mercury 4.3l e.f.i. has a return line or not. I'm trying to avoid uncovering the boat to find out. I never noticed but then again I never looked either.
Thanks
