Will the Navman and Standard Horzion fuel flow meters work on the direct injected outboards? They only list carbed motor. If not is Flo scan the only unit?

Default RE: Navman,Standard

I'm pretty sure they will. I'm having the NAVMAN FUEL 3100 installed on my new boat. It will have a 300 HPDI. The fuel flow transducer is in-line between the engine and fuel tank. It measures fuel used, fuel flow rate and amount of fuel remaining among many other things. The calculations are based upon fuel flow though the in-line fuel transducer and the amount of fuel you calibrate the unit to when you fill up. As long as you have a tank and an engine and a fuel line in-between with the in-line fuel transducer installed, this thing should work. The calculations are presented back to the main display. I don't think it cares whether it’s a direct fuel injected engine or not. Check out what NAVMAN has to say.
