Default Lock for external gps

I am in the process of rigging a new boat with an external Garmin gps and would like to get a lock for the mount to prevent theft. Any suggestions as to where I can buy this type of hardware?

Thanks for your help.

Default RE: Lock for external gps

Most mounts supplied by the manufacturer are made of plastic with only a few screws attaching it to your console. How much would any sort of lock deter a determined thief??

They make pods that will slow the thieves down some (and look nicer on your boat)but if they want it they're gonna get it. :(

If it's Flush mounted your insurance will cover it.
