Default RE: Running wires through T-top tubes (Problem)

I had the same problem. I wish I had found this earlier and saved you some cash and time . I had the same problem, but I had a hole in the console where the originals tandoff was. I poked around with a wire and found it did have a hole into the main tube. I went to the top drilled a 1/2 hole tried to fish wire it like hell. Spent a good few days at it. Finally I gave up and ran the wire's out side and tied it off. I started to clean upthe deck and got my shop vac. As I was cleaning I sucked in a piece of string thru a tube and it was kinda stuck half way in the tube nad half in the vac hose. Eureka!. I tied a small washer to a piece of 100# spider wire, ran it as far as I could drop it, and put the shop vac on the hole at hte inside of the console. After jiggleing the string for a bit. I felt it go right into the vac. Now I have 2 VHf anntena and all vhf wires running on the portside tube and lgiht and gps wires on the sb side.
