Default GMI 10 hooking up to Analog Fuel Gauge

Is it possible to hook an analog fuel gauge and sender into the Garmin network and have it show on the GMI 10. The application is on a diesel so the fuel flow sensor from garmin will not work. Maretron makes a system but not familar with it. Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated

Merry Xmas

Search for a Spanish company that is offereing a considerable range of N2K instruments and senders. I recall a translator that reads the resistance from many fluid level sensors and can be programmed to translate to N2K.

This isn't likely to appear in a bubble pack on a rack at your local Bass Pro shop soon.

Floscan makes their NMEA 2000 system that will work. It is $1200 per engine and is a fuel flow system. Offshore Sytems in the UK makes NMEA 2000 tank senders (I think these are the Maretron units) available in the US through: OCEAN EQUIPMENT 2 Thomas St, Irvine, CA 92618 Tel: 949-588-1470 Fax: 949-588-1479. The one I bought was about $300.

This is the company overseas that makes all the cool, but pricey, NMEA2000 stuff.
