My 4212 stopped working a few weeks ago, just would not turn on. Sent it back to Garmin and they are sending me a new one. It was out of warranty and I am happy they are standing behind their product. Just wanted to let everyone know their customer service is A-1.

Garmin has great customer support. I bought a V2 Vision chip from Hodges Marine in Fl but purchased the wrong chip. Hodges refused to exchange it for the right one because it was opened and suggested I sell it on E-Bay. Called Garmin and had a new chip in hand within 72 hrs. You can't beat that.

I had an early 4208 that crashed. Garmin was excellent about sending a new unit overnight.
They also provided excellent support on a 2206 that had GPS antenna lock issues. Can't fault them on their service - it's top notch.
