Hallo to everyone please i want your advise for an installation.
My boat have a Mercruiser cummins QSD4.2 with smartcraft component and fuel gauges.
I have 2 seperate tanks for 1 engine. When i fuel the tanks the component shows seperates the tank 1 and tank 2 but the two fuel gauges shows exactly the same and is not.
When i start to fuel the first tank both fuel gauges start to show the liters.
For example smart craft component shows tank1 100 liters and tank2 200 liters the fuel gauges shows both the same as tank1.
Who is possible the smartcraft component to understand the 2 tanks and the fuel cauges not.
Here in Greece from Mercruiser told me that there is no solution.
Thanks for any kind of advise.
P.S. Sorry for my English...

one of my customers had the same problem with his setup as well. We installed a garmin system with the gfs10 meters and used them. Mercury told us there was no solution as well with 2 outboards and one tank with the older smartcraft system. This upcoming week we are replacing the entire mercury system though. The garmin fuel system works great after one hiccup. I highly recommend it.
