Default Fish/Depth Finder

I have a 1996 3100 pursuit express . I'm looking for a good Fish/dept finder for Lake Michigan salmon fishing. I all so like perch fishing in 60' of water so I need some thing with good bottom separation. I only have about $1,500 to spend. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Bob. ;?

Raymarine A65 combo package... great unit... I personally have lowrance LCX-27C and it's a great unit as well.. navionics chart better than the Hard Drive HD version for me in Hawaii... but may be just fine for you in Lake Michigan... waters pretty clear up there... Wife's from the U P ... Just depends on how big the screen you want.... The LCX-38 is a tab bit better too... but i am more impressed with the Raymarine packages... can easily add radar overlay later on...
