Default Lowrance 3300C opinions

I have a chance to buy one for a pretty good price. I need it to replace a stolen GPS on my boat and money is definitely a concern right now. Are these decent units? How's the detail on the maps? Thanks for any input.

hey tcm that link didn't work. I haven't been able to find much about these on the net. In my situation, do you think $200 is a reasonable price?

I have a Lowrance 3300C--the antenna went out this year, and I will replace the antenna (that will probably cost more than the $200). I use it as a back up and have been using it over 5 years--a decent unit--good screen but lower resolution than some of the newer units. These will take the basic Navionic chips and have good coverage.

I'll take that as good advice, esp. in my situation. I'm using a somewhat outdated unit anyway, plus I really just need to be able to stay in the channel and find my way back at night. Thanks again for the info.
