Default electrical interference

My fishfinder interferes with my VHF radio. Any suggestions on a simple fix. My VHF antenna is not near the fishfinder. Both are located in an eletronics box. Both cables do run along the back of the box.

Double check your grounds and make sure that you have good clean and strong grounds.(large enough wire)
Then other thing is to put the ecm magnets on the power cables and the transducer cable. If that doesn't work, try another radio from a friend and see if it stays. If it goes away you have a bad radio, if it stays then you may have a depth sounder. I am assuming that this equipment is not entry level equipment. In-expensive equipment can give you fits. Good luck

You might want to check the 12 volt "noise elminaters" sold at Radio Shack for halting interference in cars. Works for me.... Cost about $25.
