Default Garmin GSD 22 Sonar/ noise at power up

Before I contact Garmin, thought I'd ask here first. When powering up my Garmin 4208 and sonar on the boat trailer, I hear a distinct clicking noise while the sonar unit goes through boot up. The lights are red then turn green after boot up.
Is this normal?

Do you mean from around the transducer? You can sometimes hear a clicking sound from the transducer when it is runnng at full power, after all it is a "sounder" sending sound waves out. But I have not herd a click sound come from my GSD unit or the display.

Where do you hear the sound?

The sonar unit itself makes the noise. I was rigging the network then tested it. Heard the clicking noise right next to me. The sound went away after the green indicator light came on.

Issue solved. There was a hair width piece of solder across 2 pins of the connector. Cut it away with a razor blade, cleaned with contact cleaner, powered up with no clicking. Apparently there was voltage arcing across the pins, however slight.
