Default Multiple fish finders (Furno and a Garmin) a problem?

I recently got a glacier bay 2680 and it has older electronics (Ray SL70 radar , Raychart 620 and a Furuno 600) on it which I am going to be switching out.. Due to space constraints and hole sizes, my plan was to get a Garmin 4210 which will fit where the Raychart 620 was and a Furuno FCV585 where the SL70 is. I plan on using the 4210 for Radar and weather as well. The FCV600 is mounted to the ceiling so I will just remove it all together.

I happen to like the fish eye view on the Garmin so I was considering adding a sonar to take advantage of that feature but my concern was that it may be an issue having both the Furno 585 and Garmin on at the same time.

My plan was to stick with transom mount transducers and have one transducer on each sponson. Will it create any issues having both on simultaniously? After all the hype about the Gamin Fish finder issues and inability to mark fish off shore, I am convinced I want Furuno for my primary FF not to mention that I need to fill the hole from the SL70 with someting...

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated! Also, I will be using the boat for both inshore and off shore fishing.

Also, for those that are familiar with the 42XX garmins, are they easy to use? I wanted the 5212, but it is too big to fit my dash and the 5208 is too small to make the holes from the raychart go away.

I just purchased the 4212 from Jim at BOE and am looking forward to the install.
I bought the adapter from my Furno 582 to fit the new plug on the Garmin.
I just wish I was closer to the boat.

I will take pics and update you.
Its a 2670

Run the Garmin @ 50hz and the Furuno @ 200hz to prevent interference between the two sounders.

I just added a Furuno CVS 620, and when I put on my older Sitex 106 (200 Hz only), I expected to see some interference, but there was none on either machine. The Sitex is a transom mount, and the Furuno a shoot-thru, about 18" forward of the transom. If you do get interference, the Furuno has interference rejection that you can use, although it does reduce the sensitivity a bit.
