Default Garmin & XM... what do I need to make it work???

I got me a nice 4210 and the GMR21 (or 18??? I have to check)
I didn't got the XM weather antenna and I think I'm regretting it...

So if I want to get this feature now, with the setup I mentioned above, what equipment should I get???, How much should I expect to spend for the equipment?? And how much for the XM subscription if I only want weather (no radio)???

There's a guy selling a GA31 on the trading dock and I was wondering if this would work on my set up or I need something else...Is the GA31 same as the GDL30A???

I'm lost... sorry for my ignorance.

I would tell you that you want the GDL 30A. I don't know what the GA 31 is. The XM Weather has two packages that will run you about $30 a month and a Master Mariner package that will run you $60 a month. You'll need to take a look at the XM website and see which of the three options gives you the features you'll need for the area you boat in. These prices are for the weather only.

no need a gdl30a, it comes as the blackbox with its own antenna. The GA31 is just the antenna, no use without the black box.
