Default Yamaha Command Link & NMEA 0183 connections

Can anyone tell me which wires on the Command Link harness interface with NMEA 0183 data + & -

yep thats the ones bule and white of the speedo you can find the ends about 8 inches away

Thanks for the replies guys.

Very kewl, according to the Yamaha Command Link Operation Manual (pg.24), the NMEA0183 from the GPS once connected to the Command Link (and GPS mode activated in command link) displays your ground speed instead of water speed.

Best thing is it reverts to water speed automatically if the NMEA0183 GPS signal is lost. NICE !

I think I'd rather have my GPS running the show insted of depending on the information from the water speed sensor on the engine which, if plugged and giving false readings, would alter the fuel flow data.

It will also give you time, water temp, and depth (if you turn those nmea sentences on the GPS) and do all your FM calcs from GPS signal.

I can imagine how much more accurate the FM data will be.
