Default garmin M260 to furuno?

Since my garmin 4212 is a POS fishfinder and I like everything else about it I was wondering if I can keep my transducer and hook it up to a furuno FF, do they make an adapter?

I am 99.9% sure you can not do that. I beileve Airmar has said that the Garmin ducers are not compatible with the Furuno machines. By the way you are right in thinking a Furuno sounder will be better than your GSD 22. I would look at the FCV 585 or FCV 620

Airmar (or it's sister company Gemco) does not make an adapter from a Garmin transducer to Furuno machine. They do make the reverse though.

See this thread on a similar question and what I did with my Garmin transducer for my Furuno FF.
