raymarine not waas?

Default raymarine not waas?

just purchased the raymarine a60 bundle. after installing it i was going through some of the paper work and found out that it is no longer waas, because they decomisioned 2 satelites. is there a way to do an update and make it waas or did i just get screwed.

no updates ,you must use a raystar 125 to get wass...pm me i can fix you up

For the E and C series it was just a software upgrade. Call Raymarine.

whats right the E and C do have updates for this but the A60 and A65 do not it gps bulb is the receiver . the receiver for the A has no updates thats why you must upgrade to the raystar 125 to get was on these units...

The 120 antenna was not capable of being updated to recognized the change in GPS satellites. The term "decommissioned" is pure spin-doctor BS. Satellites have life expectancies, and are replaced on a published schedule. SOMEBODY didn't know that.
