Default Interfacing Suzuki 140 and Lowrance NMEA 2000 network

Got a quick question. I am trying to interface my 2005 suzuki 140's to my nmea 2k network after inspecting the motor . I am wondering how much of the engine has to be disassembled to attach the cable. And where can I purchase the rubber stopper that attaches to the case where the cables exit presumably to hold the cables firm and to stop water from entering the case?
thanks

you need to remove the top cover along with the right side cover (same side as the stopper) of the lower unit. There's about 8 bolts to unscrew. Not hard at all.
