And that function is TOTALLY inaccurate. The spots I am looking for are maybe 30' around, and converted Loran #'s get you to maybe within 1/4 mile - NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Raytheon made a Nav 398 that has both Loran and GPS. I see them on ebay all the time. They usually go for around $300-$400 dollars. I don't think most people know just how good of a set it is.Just make sure you get the Loran coupler and the GPS antenna in the deal. The GPS antenna is not a big deal; but the Loran coupler is. I have one as back up; but I use it to convert all my TD's to Lat/Lon. Just use the Loran TD's to get to the spot and than let the 398 see where it is in Lat/Lon. It also comes on great when a friend gives me some TD's for a hot spot. The old Nav 398 finds the wreck everytime.

I have a complete Furuno 90MKII for sale, it's the current production. Had it back to factory for memory battery replacement, bench test, and newest software version. Let me know if interested. D2

I'm also looking for a complete Loran unit. Needs to have manual, coupler, pigtails, etc. I'm new to using Loran so I'd like a complete functional setup. Email me if you have one available...

Thanks!

I have an Impulse 4040 sonar with Loran. Unit is very clean, and transducer is new. Antenna is a little rough from sun. A reasonable offer will take it.
