Lowrance LCX series - I believe they have a 10.4" combo unit and IMHO a much better sounder than a Garmin anyday.

** Edit ** My mistake these units are all external antenna. For an internal antenna model, I think you'll be stuck with 5" either Lowrance or Garmin.

Raymarine will quite soon introduce the 6,4" A70 with built-in fishfinder and gps antenna.

The upcoming Raymarine "A" series units will probably be very good stuff.

Don't forget the A-60 debacle of several months ago. A search of THT may be enlightening. Before buying I'd allow others do do a little beta testing.

That does look interesting. I'll definitely wait--I don't even have boat to put it in yet!

Nothstar the M121 which has a full 12" screen that has a quality 600/1000W sonar built right in it, no black box needed. Also has a fuel management system built in ready to go and is radar ready if you need it in the future. It will require an external GPS antenna. If that's too big they make the same thing in an 8.4 inch screen.
