Easy install of my new toy this afternoon. This will be a new dimension in fishing for me. Maybe I will get to try it out next weekend if I can work the kitchen pass. =)

Outstanding! I'll tell you one thing, I wish I would have had that picture when I listed my 600L for sale on E-Bay. That's probably the best picture of one I've ever seen. Now, get out there and use it :~)

For a driveway! Ever try to catch some of those fish under your boat? Must have to troll with a jack-hammer!

Looks good!

Just one thought (learned from Thom). Are either of those units causing any false raedings on the compass? It does look close.

No it did not have any impact on my compass when powered up. My GPS runs just to the right of the compass w/no problems. I hope she works good in the water.

The 600L has a feature that is not in the manual, it will detect fish better. When bottom fishing set the range scale to match the relief size, 5' relief 10' scale, 10' relief 20 scale, etc. Got my first three scales set to 10, 20 ,30. Now use your shift key to shift down until you see the bottom. Now the machine is looking at only the bottom on the whole screen, not a split screen. What a difference this makes. Hope this helps.

Nice job. You are going to love it. Any plans for making a trip to Panama City this Spring? You won't recognize the soon to be renamed "X-TASEA" Major changes. Santa was good to me this year...In another week or two we will be ready to go day or night.

Thanx for the input on the range scale. I noticed the default was something like 20, 30, 60, 120. I had planned to change it after I can get on the water to play with it. I typically fish in water less than 120'.

Todd, I'll definitely be over when Snapper season starts in Apr. Still Grouper fishing over here. Sounds like Radar for the Parker?
