Default Icom Command Mic Wiring Help

I am hooking up a Icom Command Mic to my M504 Radio. There are two wires pigtailed near the plug of the command mic, one black, one yellow. There is no mention of these wires anywhere in the 504 or command mic literature or Icom's Web Page. Can anyone help me figure out what these are for and where to connect them? This is a HM-162 Command Mic.

Thank You,
Todd

They are for an external speaker.

The command mike should have a round, DIN/Molex type plug connector on your radio, simply plug it in. The pigtails are for external speakers, power and interfacing.
