Default B260 Transducer Un-Install Problem

I'm taking a B-260 transducer with the high speed fairing block off of a boat to put on another one.

The cable end (that connects to the DSM 300) will not come back through the brass nut that goes on the transducer. I am pretty sure it should just slide through there but I do not want to break that connection trying to force it.

Anyone have any tips to get this nut off the cable?

Thanks!

On some ducers you can take the twist collar (lock on mechanism) off of the connection which will make it smaller.

You should have a small plastic wedge (Installation package) that is used to spring open the locking collar. Go to Raymarine's website, I'm sure they will have a detailed diagram of the wedge and operation.

Thanks!

Found something about it on the Raymarine site. I don't have the wedge tool but I will look at it and get something to work.
