Default Garmin 4210 Turns On when batterys Switched on

Just installed a 4210 w/ HD radar and GSD22.

When I turn on the batteries to the boat with the Perko Switch, the 4210 fires up and the Radar also warms up. It turns on all by itself....

This cant be right... Shouldnt I have to hit the power button on the 4210 to get it to turn on?

I have the 4210 and the radar going to seperate locations on the boats main Bus Bar in the console.

any ideas?
