Default Speaker advice please need new ones !!!

I have the clarion cmd 4 or ? deck thats powering 2 6 inch older fosegate speakers up front in cudy and 2 small 4or 5 inch older kickers in cockpit ,
a amp thats powering a 10 inch sub and 2 bose speakers on the back deck

It sounds good but the small kickers are done and had enough .after 3 years
I have heard alot of good things about JL audio on this fourm

I was woundering about replacing those kickers with 6.5 inch jl audio speakes . is that deck power enough for those speakers ? or does JL make a smaller speaker ? or is there another brand that has as high as rateing ?

I dont care for sound my friends new kicker coaxales but I think their subs are ok ,

if The JL or others sound as good as every one says In the future i will end up with all Jl audio speakers

The bose sound ok and are very durable for marine use but I cant turn the amp up much or they pop
I will switch those out next year

THanks in advance for advice

One idea would be to call Crutchfield and get their opinion. They were extremely helpful with my speaker selection matching my Clarion and I have been very happy. They shipped immediately and I had new product in two days and price was competitive. Good luck.

Crutchfield has terrible prices on their marine stuff for some reason. Just about all of it is MSRP. They are a great company with excellent customer service, but their prices - at least on their marine stuff - are terrible.
