Default Furuno FCV1100 wiring setup

could anyone tell me which color wires go to which pin # on the 4pin plugs for seperate TDXs ie red/black for the 50khz blue/green 200khz to which pin on the plug cant find detail on furuno site.I know which colors are the frequencies but not which pin to solder the wire to, middle pin is for shield .Was also wondering if I can run the unit by setting the unit up to use my existing 1kw tdx @200khz and running a seperate 50khz tdx @3kw by changing the tab to the E position internally for the 50khz plug your help would be great thanks

are they 3 or 4 pin plugs? your first post makes it sound like they are 3 pin, but your second post says 4 pins.

i thought they were 4 pin plugs. if that is the case, pin 3 is your shield. 2 and 4 go to the other wires and polarity doesnt matter.

Thanks for the reply ductape, they are the 4pin plugs sorry for the confusion,I thought I had said 4pin in both threads so just to confirm the shield goes to pin 3 2+4 for the other two wires either color and I assume the freq doesnt matter as well I appreciate your help looking to install new setup asap cheers

i see where it says 4 pins on your first post. Doh! it was late

its been awhile since ive done an fcv1100, but you should have two plugs. the 200 khz wiring goes to the H plug, and the 50khz wiring goes into the L plug. both wire the same way.

i usually wire them like this, just to keep them uniform:

pin 1 = empty
pin 2 = transducer positive
pin 3 = transducer shield
pin 4 = transducer negative

pins 2 and 4 can be reversed and you wont notice a difference.
