Default NMEA/Seatalk Compatability

I have an older Raymarine Raychart 320 chartplotter and would like to see if I can get it to share a signal with my Icom M422 VHF and or my Furuno LS6100 fishfinder, both have GPS funtions. The Raymarine unit has the three prong seatalk outlet, the VHF has two NMEA wires labeled "IN" and "OUT", and the Furuno unit has a NMEA port. If anyone has a similar setup or any knowledge and could enlighten me about this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

RC320 nmea out+ was yellow and their out - was brown. Take these to a terminal strip and then T off to the Furuno's and icom's respective In + and In - connections.

and ignore the seatalk connection for this, these connections are on the rc320's power/data cable

You cannot connect SeaTalk directly to NMEA

If the 320 has NMEA output, you can connect to the other units providing position data

Thanks for the info guys, I will take a look at the back of the unit when I get home, I believe the RC320 has a NMEA and Data port. If I can at least get the VHF to read the position data from the GPS I would be very happy.

As usual, reading the manual provides the correct info:

Battery negative Black
Battery positive Red

NMEA data input (+ve) White
NMEA input (-ve) -common Green

Not connected Gray

NMEA data out Yellow
NMEA Data output common Brown
