Default Garmin XM sea surface temps...Help Please

Just put the 4212 on my boat and have the xm sat radio and weather. When I pull up the SST's the temerature scale is in 4-6 degree increments...not really helpful. Any way to show 1-3 degree breaks in surface temps out there.

Thanks in advance

Been using XM WX for two years. It has been a fantastic tool for knowing what was coming, and has saved us from many afternoon thunderstorms each summer.

But I use OceanTemp for my SSTs before heading offshore. XM WX is not currently accurate enough to find temp breaks.

Thanks for the help. Warmpinkcenter.....I love the suzuki's. I have had 3 pairs of yamahas and like the zukes just as well if not better. Never any problems with any of them but much more torque in the zukes. My contender is on plain in a heartbeat and those zukes keep it on plain even at low rpms. I am spinning 16x23 inch props and top out in the mid 50's at 5900 rpm's( with 7 people on board). I haven't computed mileage accurately yet, but I'll report back when I do. Just trying to dial in the fuel management gauge right now.
