gps hook up to radio

Default gps hook up to radio

I want to hook my c120 nmea gps out to my west marine radio the plug on the radio shows nmea green in/+ but no in/- do you only connect the one wire ?

run a jumper wire from the wherever the radio power "-" (normally black) wire is to the c120's nmea out - (I think brown, but check your manual)

I'd set up a NMEA bus. Then you could make additions in the future.

Which West Marine radio do you have? Do you plan on adding any other electronics?

I do not have the paper work on the radio with me I am also hooking in my Yamaha fm gauge to GPS speed
