Default onboard charger popping when plugged

Guys I have had a long standing problem with my onboard charger. It is a Guest model 3 bank charger. The issue has always happened even when I had another charger installed in the boat so I don't think it is charger related.

When I plug my AC cord into the boats outlet I get a pretty good pop from the plug. It doesn't shock me but it does pop and spark. I think it may be related to my plug or the leads going from the plug to the charger. Possibly even the AC cord itself has a ground problem.

Do those of you with onboard chragers have a similar pop when pluggin them in? Is this at all common or should I have it looked at?

My last boat had two onboard chargers and they both popped a little when plugged in (guest and stealth). My current boat does the same (both minn kota). They charge the batteries fine and have never had a problem!
