Default Garmin 498C

Does anyone know if the current Lat. / Lon. coordinates can be displayed on one of these units? The only way I can figure it out is to press the toggle key to display the boats position. I usually run a hand held for back up and exact positioning over a fishing spot, but it would be nice to have the same info. on the 498 in case my little hand held goes on the fritz. I can't find anything in my manual about setting it up this way. ;?

I would need to get on my boat to remember for sure but press the Data/cnfg button to show the data boxes. I believe once in this screen their is an option to display your current coordinates as well as speed, depth, temp, heading, etc......if that doesn't work I should be on the boat Wednesday and could tell you then.

newbote,

It will be sometime this weekend before I can get back to my boat and hook up my Garmin to work with it. Any info would be greatly appreciated as I've read through the manual numerous times and cannot find it.
