Default buying electronics

Been looking to buy a new GPS. I came across a company called Blue Water Deals. They have some of the cheaper prices on the net for their products. I haven't heard them mentioned on this or other forums. Just curious about customer service, etc. I am probably going to buy either a 500 series Garmin or a 5300 Lowrance. The Lowrance is considerably less expensive than the Garmin. Is there that much difference in the units. Also Lowrance is running a promo where you get a free chip if you buy a unit with a 5 inch screen.

for $599 you can get a Garmin 540S with Saltwater Transducer from Turtlemarine.com
That is the best price I have seen on the web for that unit.

You get what you pay for most of the time, but when you go to one of the Vendors we talk about here, you get knowledge of the product and real service and support, for a dollar or two more. When you buy from a factory authorized dealer like Jim at BOE, you get a great price, great support, and full factory warranty on top of all the above. When you buy from some annonymous glitzy banner on Ebay, you are taking chances with your money. There is no warranty on the gray market.

Took the advice and purchased a Garmin 545 this A.M. from BOE. Great price and the person that I ordered from on the phone was excellent. Knew the product well and answered my questions prior to my order. She took her time and explained everything to my satisfaction. Unit should arrive in a couple of days. Thanks again for the advice.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what is BOE? Is this an acronym or an actual name? A website?
