Default BWP need your help

Tom

Sent you an email, but I guess it didn't go through, so what else is new with Roadrunner.

My garmin network, 4212-4208, won't change screens. In fishing charts, it wants to show water temp (green). I removed the fish species but it still won;t go back to a white color. It the tower (4208) it shows a fishing screen white so I can see all the depth contous, but not down below. Yesterday in the stream I tried all possible combinations, but could not find the magic key. What am I missing?

Thanks for all your great help.

Horace

Nope, not in the fish eye view, Just regular fishing chart. You have a crusing and and a fishing chart, Wanted the fishing chart and a radar overlay. Not on this machine.

There are two ways to dislay the Fishing Charts:

1. With just G2 Charts you can go to the Information Menu select weather and choose fishing information because it is a XM special display. You will not be able overlay the radar onto that picture plus you will get no detail except for spot sounds on the the charts.

2. With G2 Vision Chartsloaded there is a Fish Chart selection you can choose. It will give you both SST and offshore bathy display. The bathy display doesn't start to show real detail until you get to under 3 miles range scale. Once you get under 1.2 miles the bathy info really shows detail. At .5 miles (this also occurs in option 1 to) the SST stops displaying and all you get is very detailed bathy.

Here's how you customize the combo screens.

Thanks TOM

As always you come through.

Now running off shore in the early morning, do I use the navigation chart? and can I overlay the radar to see bouys and other vessels? Thought the navigation chart was for inland areas.

next question, My Classic want to ride bow high and the radar wants to look upward. If I am to build a radar platform, how much of an angle should I use?
