Default garmin colorado 400c

Hope everyone is having a good day,

Just wanted to know if anyone has hands on experience with the new garmin 400c handheld gps. I am thinking about buying one just wanted to know if they are good units and if you can see them good in the sunlight. It will be used as a backup unit on my larger boat and used as the primary unit on my smaller boat. Thanks for any and all replies.

Safe boating and good fishing to all.

I just got one and like it. Brightness is fine; the default is on the low end, but you press the power button and rotate the click wheel to increase brightness. Quick and easy to do. I went with it because it has charts already loaded for not that much more than a cheaper unit plus the chart chip. Garmin gets your money one way or the other.
