Default Need help with prop selection

The boat is a Sturdee Boat Amesbury Dory 16 with a small side console.

The max HP rating for the boat is 25 and it has had a Honda 25 on it for that last 8 years.

I tend to load the boat up, 2 people and gear, cooler and ice.

Right now it has the original Honda 9-1/4 X 12 three bladed prop. I find that it's a bit tough to get up on plane but once I do the boat will move much faster than I want to go, so top end is not a problem, not even close to redlineing it.

OTOH, I spend a lot of time of tube and worm trolling among the rocks and I would like to be able to troll slower and have more low speed control.

I know I can do this by getting a prop with less pitch. I have also read that I might look into a four bladed prop. Supposedly it will have the better low speed control yet get me up on plane faster (at least that's what I read on a prop manufacturers website).

I also know I can screw up my motor with the wrong prop so I'm looking for some learning and help in making a selection. I need "lower gearing". ;?
