Looking to replace the above unit with an updated Navnet or Garmin unit. Can I use the existing connections and ducer for this?

To use one of the Navnet blackboxes like the DFF1, you will need the MB1100 matching box. This allows you to cut the plugs off of the transducer wires that connect to the 292 and hardwire those wires into the matching box. The matching box then has a 10 pin cable that comes out that connects to the DFF1. The DFF1 comes with a cable to connect to the Navnet unitl at that point. Not sure how you would connect to a Garmin, would need some similar product I imagine.

BTW, the DFF1 is a 600W/1kW unit for 50/200 kHz. If you are using other frequencies on the 292 or the 2k or 3kW settings, you will need the BBFF3. This unit has plugs just like the 292.
