Default Garmin on New Boats

I am seeing in a lot of Ludicrous's photos (they are great by the way) and at the boat shows here, there are a lot of people putting Garmin units in with Furuno Fishfinders. When I look on top, there is no dome. But I assume it will be a Garmin. I know Garmin has one of the best GPS's, and Furuno is to have one of the best FF. Has Garmin made the list now for Radar? Or is it that the radar "will do" and it is nice to have it combined with the GPS for the overlay?

I love my Garmin radar with overlay and MARPA.

I bet that Garmin will be the "top dog" with boating electronics soon....if not already.
My boat is rigged completely with Garmin products...and I am in awe at how everything works together.
The only item that I'm not sure of is the autopilot. Garmin recently purchased Nautamatic, the company that made the TR-1 autopilots.
My autopilot came with the Garmin name on it....but...I haven't had a chance to use it yet. If it integrates with the Garmin network as seamless as the other Garmin will be the best setup possible...IMO.
