Default BEST QUALITY STEREO SYSTEM FOR OPENFISH

LOOKING FOR BEST PERFORMANCE AND LONGEST LASTING IN HARSH CENTER CONSOLE ENVIRONMENT.
SOMEBODY SAW ONE BY CLARION BEING HOSED DOWN
WHILE OPERATING AT BOAT SHOW.ANY SUGGESTIONS?

There are alot of good ones. It all depends what your criterias are( I guess governed by age). My suggestion would be to select one that would install inside the console in a dry environment with a remote operating keypad. My scout came with a JBL w/cd player. It's nice to know I can wash down the boat and not harm the radio. Most are not strictly "marine". I had mine out and it's made by Prospect and has a plastic sheet on the top to protect it from water. Try Crutchfields.com. or

I installed a pioneer set.
Came with stereo/cd, speakers, and waterproof face cover.
2 years later everything is like new and works great.
Boatworld was cheaper than West Marine.
