Default FURUNO GP 30

How do I determine miles traveled during a trip with my GP30? It came used with my boat and the documentation (manual) is in poor shape (been wet a few times). I am trying to verify/determine my gas consumption.

Well I don't know if the older version is the same as my 32. But you just need to go through the display pages till you get to the one that has the volts, cog, sog, and trip on it. If someone has customized that page that it shows something else you may need to go into the menu and set it up the way you want.

Otherwise the 32 also has a trip and odometer, and you can reset them through:
1. menu
2 erase
3 select trip and that will show you the distance also.

Of course this is all predicated on the 30 being the same logic and displays as the 32.
