Default E80's reading engine data

I have Volvo D4's talking to Raymarine E80's via the Volvo NMEA 2000 gateway. All works OK except for total fuel used stays blank.
The fuel consumption rate and all the other engine data works fine. Would sure be nice to see total fuel used at the end of the day.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The Total Fuel information is generated by a Tank Monitor not the engine ecu. The value would depend on the tank configuration parameters. Tank monitors are sold by Maretron, Lowrance and Offshore Systems. Fuel Rate is generated by the Engine ECU or a fuel monitoring system.

Also you may want to double check the Fuel Rate you are geeting on your ESeries. The last I tested both the C & E Series were displaying Total Fuel Rate (combination of all engines). There was no selection for individual engineFuel Rate on the setup menu.

Hope this helps....

Is this because of the electronic EVC syncronizes both engines while running
