Default Yamaha wiring colors - what is green?

I'm tidying up some wiring in the console and the Yamaha ignition harnesses have red, which is battery, yellow for ignition, black for ground, blue for lights. That's fine, but what is green? the tachs each have a green lead and the fuel management gage has a green and a green and white. I'm guessing it is a tach output signal, but would like to know for sure.

One thing about THT, it never lets me down. Somebody always has the answer, even if it is from a handy Whaler website.

THANKS!

How handy is the data? According to the Whaler site, I was the 22,559th person to access the page!!!! Wow!
